Technique Classes at JWSD

JWSD offers technique classes in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. These classes continue year-round, starting in July and concluding in June before new placements are decided for the next session.  

Tech classes are attended by members of JWSD's dance company, Body Talk. Body Talk has 4 "tech levels" that are increasingly advanced. Placement in a technique class for a given tech level is dependent on both age and skill/experience in the subject. 

Non-company members are welcome to register for technique classes, but a dancer's admission to the class is at the discretion of the teacher and Body Talk's company director.
